Day wise Itinerary for your trip
- Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by our representative.
- Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel in Tbilisi where you can settle in and relax.
- Prepare yourself for the exciting adventures ahead.
- We start our trip first from the capital of Georgia - ‘’Tbilisi’’. This is a wonderful city where the past and the present are harmoniously intertwined.
- Excursion around the city of Tbilisi: a walk along the old streets of Meydan (Abanotubani) to the area of the famous sulfur baths.
- During the city tour you will visit the following directions: Old Tbilisi, Meidani Square, Shardeni Street, Peace Bridge, Holy Trinity Sameba, Narikhala Fortress (by cable car), Gabriadze clock tower, Baratashvili street.
- Overnight: Tbilisi
- Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel.
- We will start with Zhinvali Reservoir – a scenic and grand reservoir along the route.
- Visit the impressive and powerful Fortress of Ananuri, a historic medieval structure with defensive significance.
- Next, visit the Gudauri Ski Resort located at an altitude of 2,395 meters, known for panoramic mountain views, followed by the Gudauri Observation Deck – a viewpoint offering breathtaking vistas of the Caucasus.
- A dramatic gorge leading toward the North – Tergi River Gorge (Terek River) – is our next place of visit.
- Kazbegi (Stepantsminda): A picturesque mountain village near the Russian border, from where Mount Kazbek (5,033m) – one of the highest peaks in the Caucasus – is visible if we are lucky enough.
- Explore the Gergeti Trinity Church (Holy Trinity Sameba) – a 14th-century church perched above Kazbegi, accessible by 4x4 (delik).
- Overnight: Tbilisi
- After a mouthwatering breakfast, we will leave from Tbilisi for a scenic drive to Georgia’s eastern region, Kakheti, known for its vineyards and charming hill towns.
- Begin your day with a visit to the KTV Wine Factory. Learn about traditional Georgian winemaking in qvevri (clay pots) and enjoy tasting some of the local wines, including Saperavi and Kindzmarauli.
- Visit the peaceful Monastery of St. George, where St. Nino, the woman who brought Christianity to Georgia, is buried. Explore the monastery grounds and the 9th-century cathedral. Enjoy panoramic views of the Alazani Valley and snow-capped Caucasus mountains.
- Continue to the nearby town of Sighnaghi, one of Georgia’s most romantic destinations.
- Walk through narrow cobblestone streets and admire colorful 18th–19th century buildings.
- Explore the Sighnaghi Fortress and walk part of its historic defensive wall. Visit local art galleries, including one dedicated to the famous Georgian painter Niko Pirosmani.
- Stroll through boutique wine shops, souvenir stores, or relax at a cafe with stunning views of the valley.
- Head back to Tbilisi with memories of Georgia’s romantic wine country.
- Optional dinner or rest at your hotel after a culturally rich day.
- Overnight: Tbilisi
- After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, prepare yourself for exploring Mtskheta, Uplistsikhe, and Gori — the heart of Georgia’s spiritual and political past.
- We will start with Mtskheta, the ancient capital of Georgia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is where the foundations of Georgian Christianity were laid in the 4th century. Mtskheta isn’t just a city — it’s a living museum.
- Visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a historic 11th-century cathedral, burial site of Georgian kings, and home to the Chiton of Christ. You can also see the life-giving pillar.
- Stroll along Mtskheta from a mountaintop and see the Jvari Monastery. This UNESCO site is where Saint Nino, the evangelizer of Georgia, planted a wooden cross that marked the dawn of Christianity in the region.
- Next, we journey to Uplistsikhe — literally the Fortress of God and one of the oldest settlements in Georgia.
- Our final stop is at Gori, a city in central Georgia and also the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Then we will visit the house where Stalin grew up, his museum, and the trailer.
- After the tour, continue your drive to Borjomi.
- Overnight: Borjomi
- After enjoying the breakfast at your hotel, we will begin your scenic drive through the lush Samtskhe–Javakheti region. Enjoy the changing landscape as you approach the famous Borjomi Gorge.
- Stroll past ancient trees, the mineral water pavilion, and Soviet-era charm. Taste the natural Borjomi mineral water directly from the spring – famed for its therapeutic benefits. Optional: Take a short hike or enjoy the eco-themed amusement park, the largest in the Caucasus.
- Next we will drive to Prometheus Cave (Kumistavi). Marvel at 1.4 km of walkways inside Georgia’s largest karst cave system. View breathtaking stalactites, stalagmites, underground rivers and hidden chambers. Optional: Boat ride through the underground river section (subject to availability and water level).
- Depart for Martvili Canyon .Walk along scenic limestone paths and stone staircases through the Dadiani Bath and ancient rock formations. Optional: Take a boat ride on the emerald-green waters of the Abasha River. Explore waterfalls, bridges and lush vegetation of the Colchian forest surrounding the canyon.
- Refreshment Break or Early Dinner (Optional). Enjoy local Megrelian cuisine in Martvili or en route.
- Overnight: Kutaisi
- We depart from Kutaisi to Tbilisi - Free day for Shopping in Local Market, Orbeliani street & in the Mall. (Tbilisi Mall, City Mall, East Point) – Thermal Spa (Optional)
- Overnight: Tbilisi
- After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
